On origin of GESL

Materials or any historical sources on the origin of Georgian sign language (GESL) are not available. It is a natural language, but languages ​​are ​​of oral communication and obviously no textual records obtained. Neither corpus this has yet been created. GESL an original that under intense influence from two different -Georgian spoken Russian (RSL). In 50s last century, representatives deaf community settled in Georgia. Presumably, for time, independent, local already existed Georgia with its grammatical structure. This confirmed by deep differences between RSL. The paper lists specific linguistic systemic these languages. Further detailed studies will most likely reveal many more distinguishing elements proving young branch RSL Soviet language.
